Risk Factors

A “risk factor” is a variable associated with an increased risk of disease or infection or death. We pull 75% of risk factors from published literature (For example: New England Journal of Medicine, Annals of Family Medicine, The CDC, Morbidity & Mortality Weekly Report, The Lancet, New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of Clinical Research, and others).

The last 25% comes from collected and proprietary data from Andersen Consulting research.

The risk factor will be adjusted in accordance with certain proprietary data as well as actual data collected from Andersen Consulting’s subjects.
